How to work out the cost of your Big 6 bet

A Big 6 is a bet that requires you to select the winner of the six nominated Big 6 races. The cost is calculated by multiplying the number of selections in each leg. For example ,if you select:

  • Leg 1: 2 Runners
  • Leg 1: 5 Runners
  • Leg 1: 1 Runners
  • Leg 1: 2 Runners
  • Leg 1: 3 Runners
  • Leg 1: 1 Runners

The Big 6 bet will cost: 2 x 5 x 1 x 2 x 3 x 1 = $60.

Big 6 flexi bet cost and percentage

The cost of a Big 6 flexi bet is equal to the bet amount. The percentage of a Big 6 flexi bet is calculated by dividing the bet amount by the total cost of a full $1 unit. If we use the example above, a $12 Big 6 flexi bet will cost $12 and give you a 20% stake in the wager. If the winning dividend is $100, you will receive $20.
